"I'm gonna be (500 miles)" was a hit for Proclaimers in 1988. This backing track just keeps getting more popular every year! It was already a great tune, a massive hit for the Proclaimers, and a great backing track. Now it seems that every year or so it get's a new audience (it was used in the movie Shrek, then it was featured for comic relief by Peter Kay and the Litle Britain team). You can be assured that this song will rear it's head again sometime in the future so, bottom line is, if you don't have this backing track in your repertoire you're selling your audience short - my simple advice...buy this backing track now and start singing this song as soon as possible...you won't regret it! We also have it in a lower male key and a female key too so you've no excuse for not singing this one!
