"Thunder in my heart (Meck 2006 remix)" was a hit for Leo Sayer in 2006. It didn't even make the UK top 20 when it was first released in 1977 but the remix by DJ Meck in 2006 saw Leo Sayer rocket straight to number 1 in the UK charts in February of 2006 - almost 30 years since he originally recorded the song! This backing track is not like different to the original Leo Sayer version of the seventies. It has been based on the much more up-tempo, punchy dance version of 2006. Although it is in the original key, Leo Sayer had such a high voice that the original key is also good for a female singing voice.
