Backing
Track Review:
"Where do you go to my lovely" was a hit for Peter Sarstedt in 1969. A song to make you dream about the South of France, this song was written (and recorded) by Peter Sarstedt and is a rather scathing attack on Sophie Loren. Although she is only referred to in the lyric as 'Marie Claire' it's quite clear who he's talking about. Oh well, Sophie Loren may turn her nose up at you and ignore you as she passes by but your audience won't turn their nose up at you when you sing this song. It's a great backing track and the accordion really gives it that sunny St. Tropez, holiday, French feel to it.
