"Billy don't be a hero" was a hit for Paper Lace in 1974. Paper Lace didn't have a lot of hit records but this song was their first, and a number one too, so it's the song they are best remembered for. Our backing track is very similar to the original Paper Lace version and is in it's original key of C (which is actually a little bit too high for a normal male singing voice). If you are a male vocalist, I suggest you try the backing track we have in the key of G. Good news is that the girls can sing this song too because the original key of C is quite a good key for a female vocalists range.
