"Why do fools fall in love" was a hit for Diana Ross in 1981. The Diana Ross version of this song has been put in to a male key to suit a standard male singer. This song was originally sung by a male vocalist (Frankie Lymon and the teenagers) so there's no problem with a male singer singing this song. This backing track version is the Diana Ross punchy eighties arrangement though, not the old sixties Frankie Lymon version.
