are quoted on an individual basis depending on the type
of custom backing tracks you want created and the time
involved in producing the tracks.
Below we've listed a rough guide of prices for the most
common types of custom backing track work we get requests
for. All prices are based on our current recording studio
rate of £5 per quarter hour, £10 GBPounds
per half hour, £20 per hour (currency

Commision

We can produce any custom backing track for you
completely from scratch.
Commissioning a song and getting it the way you want is without
doubt, the choice of the discerning professional. So, if we don't
have a particular track or medley in stock, we'll produce it specially
for you.
Prices start at only £40 GBPounds (currency
converter), depending
on what you want us to produce. For example, you may need an already
existing backing track that's in our catalogue arranged to fit
in with choreography or require it to be shortened or lengthened
in places, an instrumental solo inserted or taken out, an extra
chorus added etc.
Or it may be that you're just looking for a straightforward backing
track of a song that we don't happen to have in our catalogue
at the moment and you can't find anywhere else.
Whatever it is you need produced, we can do it.
When you consider that most recording studios charge £30/hour
and upwards, and session musicians the same...you can save hundreds
by letting the Trax Team record your songs.
Commissioning a song will
usually fall in to one of the two categories below:
1. You submit a song to us and we create a backing track with
the exact same instrumentation and arrangement (i.e.
the backing track we create for you will sound just like the original
song you sent us). Be prepared to pay upwards from £100
GBPounds (currency
converter) or more for
this service because there's
a lot of painstaking time and work goes in to arranging and recording
all the instrumentation to get it to sound as close to your original
song as possible.
2. You submit a song to us
and we create a backing track with a similar
style and arrangement. You leave it to us to choose the instrumentation
for the song and make our own arrangement of it. We'll still make
you a backing track in the same style and feel as the song you
send us and we'll include any specifications you ask for (i.e.
it'll be in the key you want, the same feel, the same tempo etc).
Because you're leaving it up to us to choose the instrumentation
and arrangement, this takes
less time for us to produce so we will usually be able to give
you a cheaper quote. You can expect to pay
around £40 - £80 GBPounds (currency
converter) for this service.

*Note:
We can only accept reference recordings
submitted to us in MP3 format. Please do not submit reference
material in WAV format as our server is configured to reject these
types of large files.
Key
Changes
We can change the key of any backing track
in our catalogue. Please note that we DO NOT use pitch-shifting
to change keys! We only change keys the correct, proper and professional
way by opening up the master multi-track arrangement in our studio
and re-recording each of the instruments again, then re-mastering
the song in its new key. Because we change the keys on our tracks
the correct way, there is no loss of quality whatsoever
(i.e. no tinny drum sounds and no bass warbles)!

Instrument
Removal
We can remove
any instrument(s) from any backing track in our catalogue. For
example, a guitarist may request that the guitar part be removed
from the track so that he/she can play "live" along
with the backing track (or a sax player may request the sax part
be taken out). We can also insert a count-in
where appropriate
if required.

Instrument
Panning & Click Track insertion
In most cases, instrument panning
and click-track inclusion are usually only required when drum
parts are removed from a backing track (i.e where the click track
is panned to one side of the stereo spectrum and the remaining
music is panned to the other side). This type of custom work is
highly specialised so prices are quoted on an individual basis
depending on the work you need done. However, if we already have
a master arrangement to work from (i.e. the backing track is in
our catalogue) then generally this usually takes one hour of studio
time (£20 GBPounds per song).

Medleys
Build Your Own Medley!
You choose the songs, we arrange them in to a Medley for you.
Don't waste hours or even days sitting at home trying to "glue"
bits of songs together with an audio editor or trying to join
glitchy tracks together. Get it done the right way, the proper
way, the professional way...let us do it for you.
We create your medley of songs in one single master backing track
arrangement so that it sounds like one continuous track being
played by the same band/orchestra - in other words, a true and
proper medley.
Because we create the songs within one master arrangement there
are NO glitches between the songs, NO timing errors, No volume
spikes, and No sound differences between the instuments. Your
medley will also have a properly structured ending - there are

Custom Track Terms:
All Custom backing tracks are supplied in mp3 download
format and remain the copyright of MP3 Backing Trax.
We require payment in full prior to commencement of
any work. Our turnaround time for custom backing tracks
is usually 3 - 7 working days.
Our arrangers and musicians play to the very highest
standard and will arrange, play and produce the backing
track(s) of your choice to sound as close to the original
song you supplied as is humanly possible (given that
we do not have access to the original musicians, arrangements,
exact instruments or studio acoustics which were used
to produce the original recording).
While all custom backing tracks commissioned will not
be immediately included in our general catalogue for
resale, we may, at our discretion, include them in our
general catalogue at some future date. If you require
exclusivity, please discuss this with our sales staff.
The price of creating custom tracks is quoted on an
individual basis depending on the amount of time/work
involved in creating it for you. An exact quote will
be given to you before we undertake any work. The price
we quote is the price you pay - even if the track takes
us longer to produce.
