Almost all types of files can be "zipped" to make them
smaller and easier to manage, especially when they need to be
transferred over the internet.
Although mp3 is already a compressed file format, the mp3 file
extension can be confusing to some browsers and operating systems
and it's not unusal for browsers like Internet Explorer to attempt
to "play" an mp3 file instead of downloading and saving
it like it's supposed to.
For this reason, all our MP3 backing tracks have been "zipped"
(they have the file extension .zip) which prompts your browser
to download and save the file.
When you have downloaded your Trax, they can be unzipped in a
couple of clicks of the mouse to restore them to their original
mp3 extension and then played as normal.
